Author: Charles Norman
Charles Norman's travels as a journalist, photographer, documentary filmmaker and angling tour operator have taken him throughout Africa and the Southern Indian Ocean. This book, which covers only salt water angling, is a distillation of those travels. The 30 chapters are all true tales, set in locations ranging from the wild seas of the Cape of Good Hope to the calm tropical waters of Kenya; from Madagascar and the other Indian Ocean islands across Africa to the tiny Republic of Sao Tome in the Gulf of Guinea. While it is not intended as a how-to book, the careful reader will find much of value in its 141 pages and 47 colour photographs, in particular how anglers in other African countries go about their pursuit of salt water fish.
